DP CleanTech Provides Solution for EverBright International’s 11th Biomass Project

DP  and EverBright International announced the signing of an 11th biomass power plant project located in Liu’an City, Yu’an District, Anhui Province. DP and Everbright have worked together successfully for many years and this project is another milestone in a relationship which grows ever closer .

Anhui Province is one of the largest producers of agricultural and forestry waste in China; and the Yu’an project is EverBright and DP’s 11th biomass direct combustion project in the region. The CHP project comprises 1*130tph boiler, 1*30MW turbine and the construction of the heat supply network. The designed annual fuel consumption is 265,000 tons, generating 190 million KWh of green power and an extra 25,800 tons of steam.

DP CleanTech CEO Mr. Simon Parker commented that “We are delighted to be working with Everbright International once again. This latest project in Yu’An reflects our longstanding cooperative relationship with EB and underlines a mutual desire to work  together to further the development of biomass energy. In Anhui, the availability hours of DP solutions already exceed the Anhui average availability by 20%, and I am confident that by working closely with EB we will see significant innovations which will see further improvements to these performance levels”.

Earlier this year, EverBright International signed a cooperative framework agreement with the local Anhui government, at which time Everbright International Chief Executive Mr. Chen Xiaoping made the following  remarks “Since 2015, Anhui’s provincial government has released a series of positive policies and regulations to encourage biomass development. The Yu’an project represents another step forward for EverBright biomass in Anhui. From the success of our previous 10 projects – Dangshan, Hanshan, Dingyuan, Huaiyuan, Lingbi, Nanqiao, Xiaoxian, Mianzhu, Fengyang and Guanyun, we have gained valuable experience in operations and logistics which we are using to make strategic 'resource, logistics and management' improvements. Increasing the economic benefits of biomass enables us to further our contribution to China’s environmental protection and improvement.”
