After successfully completing 18 biomass power plant projects in less than 4 years in China, DP CleanTech has identified Thailand to be the next major market in its rapid roll-out of biomass power systems in South East Asia. On Wednesday 7th July DP CleanTech proudly opened a brand new sales office in Thailand’s capital city Bangkok, marking another milestone in its aggressive expansion strategy for biomass power in South East Asia.
Despite the recent unrest in Thailand, DP CleanTech is undeterred and committed to proceed with its plans; South East Asia is home to one third of the world’s attainable biomass of which Thailand contributes a significant proportion. Thailand’s abundant resources coupled with its accommodative renewable energy policies represent an excellent opportunity for further biomass development and a priority market for DP CleanTech. The Bangkok office provides DP CleanTech with a strong platform from which to penetrate this market and lead the path to the next generation of biomass to power technology.
The opening ceremony for the new office was hosted yesterday and was attended by more than 70 senior executives, government officials and engineers with interest and investments in this promising market. Attendees included representatives from some of Thailand’s foremost industry players including Advanced Agro, The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and The Italian-Thai power company ltd. It provided an opportunity for guests to learn more about DP CleanTech’s unique products and delivery capability as well as network with the leading figures in the biomass industry.
