NBE Nanbu biomass energy project has been connected to the power grid

The NBE Nanbu biomass energy project located in China’s agriculturally rich Sichuan province was successfully connected to the grid on 17th May 2019. With this project, NBE’s total installed capacity of biomass generated energy has exceeded 1000 MW. All NBE biomass projects utilize DP CleanTech’s biomass combustion solutions.

The 30MW Nanbu project uses DP’s Advanced 130tph HTHP Water Cooled Vibrating Grate biomass energy solution. Now that the grid connection has been made, Nanbu plant  has started the 72+24 hour trial run.

The Nanbu project is designed to consume up to 300,000 tons of agricultural and forestry waste to generate up to 260,000,000kwh green power every year. The feedstock will be purchased from the local area and will increase the income of local farmers as well as power the surrounding community.
