The innovative Mahachai project in Samut Sakhon province was a winner in the “On-Grid Renewable Project’ category for its groundbreaking use of coconut waste to efficiently and sustainably generate renewable energy for the national grid. The use of DP’s multifuel technology has enabled the owners to utilise not only coconut waste but other biomass fuel types, guaranteeing the flexibility needed to ensure consistent baseload supply. This not the first recognition of excellence for DP Thailand, which has also claimed the esteemed Frost & Sullivan “Thailand Biomass Power Competitive Strategy Innovation & Leadership” award for four consecutive years.
