The milestone hydraulic test for DPCT/NBE Pengze biomass energy project was successfully completed on 14th October 2015. The hydraulic test marks the completion of the boiler and piping system installation, and ensures the correct basis for operation.
Pengze project, located in Jiangxi, China, is an NBE group project, and is the group’s 37th biomass project investment in China since 2006. All NBE biomass projects utilize DP CleanTech’s “High Pressure, High Temperature Vibrating Grate” biomass solution. 35 plants are currently in operation, another 3 are under construction.
This project covers an area of approximately 20 hectares, with 1 x 130tph boiler and 1 x 30MW turbine. The design fuel is wood waste with an annual fuel consumption of approximately 280,000 tons.
