After months of dedication and hard work, we’re thrilled to have been awarded the boiler contract for Roblum, a 50Mwe biomass-based renewable electricity generation plant located in Castilla y León, Spain. It is one of 2 facilities at La Robla Green, a landmark green energy generation project. Roblum biomass plant is co-located with a green e-methanol production plant, called La Robla Nueva Energía. The biogenic CO2 generated by Roblum will be used in La Robla Nueva produce over 140,000 tonnes of green e-methanol per year. Together, these integrated plants represent an exciting new phase for the biomass industry, leveraging our core technologies in an innovative new model for the future and marking a major step forward in our mission to valorise waste and champion the circular economy.
