1. Lead the process and mechanical design of Flue Gas Treatment systems across all projects globally for biomass, waste-to-energy and industrial combustion plants, which the system includes:
- Dry, Semi-Dry and Wet Scrubbing Systems
- Fabric Filters (Baghouses)
- Reactor Towers
- Cyclones
- Lime and Activated Carbon Injection Systems
- Pneumatic and Mechanical Conveying Systems
- Storage Silos and Dosing Systems
- Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)
- Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR)
2. Support proposal development, technical bid evaluations and customer meetings during the sales phase.
3. Prepare, review and approve various engineering calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets and technical specifications.
4. Work closely with Procurement to evaluate suppliers and review vendor documentation.
5. Participate in HAZOP, design reviews and technical risk assessments.
6. Provide technical leadership during commissioning, performance testing and plant optimisation.
7. Support troubleshooting of operating plants and provide expert technical guidance.
8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including Boiler Process, Mechanical, Piping, EC&I, Procurement and Project Management.
9. Develop, maintain and improve DP CleanTech's FGT engineering standards, design manuals and calculation tools.
10. Mentor and develop engineers within the FGT discipline.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is essential.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in process engineering, including at least 5 years within Flue Gas Treatment or industrial air pollution control.
- Proven experience delivering industrial FGT projects from concept through commissioning.
- Strong understanding of industrial combustion processes and emission control technologies.
- Experience preparing engineering calculations, technical specifications and process documentation.
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
