Our mission is to continue to innovate - through application oriented R&D or through leveraging our core areas of competence to acquire and commercialise new technologies. Our knowledge and skills enable us to extend our remit beyond biomass and waste to energy to related environmental technologies such as emissions management and water treatment, which are now within our portfolio.
Our continual improvement plan for existing technologies addresses several key issues that are prevalent in biomass power plants in emerging markets. We are focused on:
-Enhancing corrosion resistance – complex fuels have highly corrosive properties
-Reducing emissions
-Improving cost effectiveness of emissions management to eliminate costly SCR’s
-Providing and implementing proprietary advanced automation controls to improve boiler and plant performance
-Improving waste grate technology particularly for MSW
-Improving efficiency of fuel feeding systems
-Increasing fuel types for AD technologies
Our growth focus is on identifying and developing strategic, groundbreaking technologies which we believe will be part of the next phase of development. Our skills in refining and adapting such technologies for local conditions - whilst actively using our global supply chain to manage cost imperatives - will deliver highly competitive, world class products that will be part of the next generation of renewable and environmental technologies.
