DPCT Pizhou project has successfully been connected to the power grid

DPCT/NBE’s 38th biomass project located in China’s Jiangsu province is now grid connected after the successful completion of the 72+24 hours trial run on 29th October 2015.  All NBE biomass projects utilize DP CleanTech’s EcoMulti technology solutions.

The design fuel at Pizhou is waste agricultural straw (wheat, rice) with an annual fuel consumption of 300,000 tons, sourced from the approximately 2,700 ha surrounding the plant. This is equivalent to 100,000 tons of standard coal consumption and a CO2 emission reduction of 300,000 tons per annum.  The 30MW Pizhou project consists of a single boiler and furnace, balanced ventilation, solid state slag, all steel frame and bottom sprag structure.
